(declaring that Dastan and Tamina become married) "Tus already has enough wives. You Dastan might take fewer chances if such a jewel waited in your chambers. The Princess of Alamut will be your first wife."

(discovering the power of the magic dagger, he tells Princess Tamina) "Incredible, releasing the sand turns back time and only the holder of the dagger is aware of what is happening. He can go back and alter events, change time and no one knows but him."

(arguing with Princess Tamina who complains that she is thirsty and says that the wells of Alamut are noted for their cool, clean water.) "Perhaps if you spent less time admiring your well and more time guarding your walls and you wouldn't be here."

(Princess Tamina asks him not to mock her since they don't know each other well enough) "I hardly think we know each other well enough for that, Princess, but I look forward to the day we do."

(As Prince Nizam lay dying he tells him) "You had what every man can only dream of. Love, respect and family. But it wasn't enough for you, was it?"

(after being reparmanded by his father, King Salaman, for attacking the sacred city of Alamut) "The decision and its consequences rest with me....because your trust is something I need to cherish, I will lead the search for weapons myself. I vow I will not stand before you again until I hold proof of Alamut's treachery."

(proposing a marriage between Dastan and Tamina sees that Dastan is shy and so tells him) "Get up there before I take your place."

(King Sharaman tells her that in all of his travels he has never seen a more beautiful city, to which she replies) "You should have seen it before your horde of camel riding illiterates descended upon it."

(after Dastan tells her, 'You enjoy telling me what to do.') "Only because you're so good a following orders."

(complaining to Dastan about how he ruined his ostrich racing business) "No matter your skills as a promoter, you can't organize an ostrich race with just one ostrich. Am I right?"

(King Sharaman sees an ophan boy perform a feat of bravery and decides to adopt him) "Awed by what he saw, the King adopted the boy Dastan into his family. A son with no royal blood and no eye on his throne. But perhaps there was something else at work that day, something beyond simple understanding. The day a boy from the unlikeliest of places became a prince of Persia."
