(Asking Sam Bell how he burned his hand) "Sam, you said it was the TV that distracted you but when I came in the TV wasn't on. Perhaps you were imagining things."

(Sam Bell asks Gerty if he is really a clone) "When you first arrived there was a small crash. You woke up in the infirmary. You suffered minor brain damage and memory loss. I kept you under observation and ran some tests. Sam, there was no crash! You were being awakened. It is standard procedure for all new clones to be given tests to establish mental stability and general physical health. Genetic abnormalities and minor duplication errors in the DNA can have considerable impact. I'm really sorry."

(making fun of his clone who is dressed in a colorful pantsuit) "You look like a radioactive tampon. You look like a banana with a yeast infection."
- Sam Bell,

(after Gerty tells him that he is under strict orders not to let Sam out of the base) "I don't appreciate this being treated like a child. I don't appreciate it!"

(waking up in the infirmary after his accident on the moon surface) "I saw someone out there, Gerty."

(thanking the "other" Sam) "Listen, uh, I wanted to thank you. I wanted to thank you for, uh, if it wasn't for you I guess I'd still be in that crashed rover. You saved my life. I know this is weird, I'm real lonely, I just wanted to shake your hand. Would you shake my hand?"

(realizing that something is terribly wrong with him, he asks:) "Gerty, am I a clone?"

(he and his double find a secret room filled with more of their clones) "Jesus Christ, there's so many of them! Why is there so many of them?"

(attempting to get Gerty to wake up a new clone) "Gerty, we need to wake up a new clone...Gerty, if we don't wake up a new clone, me and Sam will die, be killed. Do you understand?"
