Read our Review of 2012
(addressing the bridges of the other arks regarding all of the people being left to die on the dock) "Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Dr. Adrian Helmsley, chief science advisor to the late President Wilson. I know we have all been forced to make difficult decisions to save our human civilization. But to be human means to care for each other and civilization means to work together to create a better life. If that's true then there's nothing human and nothing civilized about what we are doing here. Ask yourselves, can we really stand by and watch these people die? I read a book two days ago. The author is probably dead by now but he said the moment we stop fighting for each other, that's the moment that we lose our humanity."
- Adrian Helmsley,
2012
(continuing his plea to save the people left stranded on the docks) "Everybody out there has died in vain if we start our future with an act of cruelty. What will you tell your children? What will they tell theirs?"
- Adrian Helmsley,
2012
(saying that he has no one to bring with him on the evacuation ship and then mentioning his ex-wife) "Who, my ex-wife? The last thing she said to me was that she never wanted to see me again. So be it."
- Carl Anheuser,
2012
(explaining to Adrian Helmsley what is happening to cause the catastrophy) "It looks like the neutrinos coming from the sun are mutating into a new kind of nuclear power. They're heating up the Earth's core and are acting like microwaves."
- Indian scientist,
2012
(addressing the nation) "Six months ago I was made aware of a situation so devastating that, at first, I refused to believe it. However, through the concerted efforts of our brightest scientist we have confirmed its validity. The world, as we know it, will soon come to an end."
- President Thomas Wilson,
2012
(Talking to his daughter who is aboard Air Force One while he stays at the White House to face certain death) "Do you understand how much strength it gives me knowing you will survive? The only thing left to do now is tell the truth to people. At least if they know, families can say goodbye to each other, a mother can comfort her children and a father can ask his daughter for forgiveness."
- Thomas Wilson,
2012
(giving his last address to the Nation) "My fellow Americans, this will be the last time I will address you. As you know, catastrophe has struck our nation as well as the world. I wish I could tell you we could prevent the current destruction -- we cannot. Today, none of us are strangers. Today we are one family stepping into the darkness together."
